ditto. including a certain 'buttocks munching through drysuit moment'. 18W HID pressed against the mask and I couldnt see anything other than a dull glow in the fog.
In that case you need to clear your mask as its obviously full of water

I am a massive fan of MCCR but i wouldn't dive one without a HUD because I know hand set diciplin is a variable and the incident pit loves a variable
Personally, I would NEVER consider diving any rebreather without a HUD. I started out in the early days without a HUD and once I tried one the first time, I have never looked back.
In that case you need to clear your mask as its obviously full of waterYour mask should be full of air and anything pressed against the glass perfectly readable (assuming you can focus on something that close to your eyes)
It certainly is. The vibrating alert really is hard to miss. Every time it reboots in the middle of the dive I find myself thinking how clear a signal it is...

LMFAO
ATB
Mark
If only I was joking.
I suppose I should look on the bright side, it keeps me practicing bailouts. The impressive thing about the Hammerhead is that no matter how many times the death rattle goes off wrongly again it's still as attention grabbing as the first time.

I think I'd rather dive a Classic Inspiration than those CF abortions!
It is taking redundancy to the maximum to have an "in transit" spare ;-)
Randy, my "museum piece" is about four years old. Because Mark's unit is older does that excuse that at the time it didn't work? A bit of straw man tactic if you ask me.
But it's good to see that the manufacturers and resellers have finally acknowledged there were problems with the previous iterations. Makes a change from being told by "experts" that the faults were user errors.
I'm glad you have faith in your products but I'd rather quit diving than buy another HH product. Which is a shame as it has good ideas but poor execution.
Oh how I laugh every dive that I thought the extra £500 for a Deep Pursuit controller wasnt worth it.

I thought I'd never see another HH slagging session on CCRx. I have to have respect for Randy for not moderating your unkind comments and trying to explain what he is doing to try to rectify past mistakes.
However I can't help but think this is half hearted amateur HH knocking, what is really needed is the Don and Dave show to bring some real vitriol and venom to the party.
Don is secretly test diving our latest creations and will soon report! Did I mention that he is a silent investor in our company?![]()
