you'll love it and be delighted right up to the point that crap fisher connector starts playing up or you catch the weedy cable and break it. Make sure you securely tie wrap the cable to the head to provide some strain relief for when you hook the cable on something as you walk/shuffle past. If you don't do this you'll still love it but will be sad.

I've been there, done that, and felt sad. Especially when I had to fork out for a new cable. I'm still sore about it.

That curved visor is going to make for some interesting visual perspectives unless your telling me John is saving his pennies for an even bigger accessory to go with it.....

i'll have you know thats a gold visor thats heated, and ive had a jet engine for the last 8 year that i have wanted to test so im thinking handglider, jet, me and a few bits from ebay.
ffs what can go wrong?

I was wondering who made it, it looked akin to a U2 bonnet but not quite...

I see Two MiG's, two Fouga Magisters, one Hawker Hunter, one Lockheed T-33, a Grumman OV-1 Mohawk, and a Cessna 310...... :luke:


I have often looked at the Russian high altitude helmet and seen a diving helmet in waiting. Another project waiting for time.

Nothing I can think of, anyway. You'll probably be sort of fine or ok in some way.

I expect you know this, but it is pressure and volume. A low presssure tank to even out the draw on the compressor seems to help.
