Does anyone else HATE this new website?

Do you think it may be worth trying to change the post background color? I think it'll make the posts easier to read since the post background color is a light gray and the font is just a dark gray. I played around with colors in the style sheet in the Element Editor on my local computer so you could get a general idea on what I am talking about (I mentioned it here: https://www.ccrexplorers.com/community/threads/welcome-to-the-new-ccrx.19548/#post-187207 ) - If it gets changed to a dark gray with a lighter font color it may be easier to read I think (and reduce eye strain) - and would match the consistency with the rest of the website.

Thanks Ray. We'll take a look at it.

Hi Guys, I think we have mentioned previously the problem with Tapatalk. Although it provides a nice easy access to multiple forums all in one place, it eliminates the banner ads for our sponsors which are what pays the bills around here. Unfortunately, it takes money to operate the forum and without our sponsors, there is no CCRX. Without the banner ads, there are no sponsors.

We have been working diligently to ensure that the website displays appropriately on mobile platforms. I think that once you get used to seeing it on your mobile device, you will hopefully agree that this is a nice compromise.

With respect Randy, I think you are very wide of the mark. There are countless forums which both rely on a revenue stream from banner advertising and allow Tapatalk access. The operators of these sites recongnise that without dynamic contribution and footfall, their sites are significantly less attractive and may wither. CCRX, as a commercial site, is not inventing any wheels on the internet. Look around, see how others are doing it successfully. Just about the largest internet forum on the planet; Mumsnet, allows Tapatalk access. Go figure...
