What case for flying?

Just noticed that the standard crate is greater than the size for United. Has anyone had any experience of rejections or alternative suggestions for crates?

Sentinel.

The crate that I have is 162cm whereas United' website states a limit of 158cm. Do they actually enforce this? AS I don't particularly want to be stung for $400

I have never had any of the airlines charge me overage due to the size of the crate. Overweight is another story all together though!

I just put it in a normal suitcase.
