Thanks for the feedback Mark. It's still a work in progress, but I think most people will enjoy the new approach.
 
Quick observation - I had CCR Explorers bookmarked so I could get to the forums quickly. When you upgraded that bookmark went to a '404 not found' page. Since another forum (not scuba) was hit by a robot attack a couple of days ago I just figured you were down as well. Only when you "didn't come back" did I try the bare address (ccrexplorers.com).

Perhaps update your 404 page to include a notice that you have updated the site and include a link to the main page?
 
Another quick observation - the threads, though present, seem to have lost the last 'unread post' counter. It's a minor issue but when you've been away from some active topics for a few days...

Thanks Randy. Overall nice change, but way more obvious when many folks in a discussion don't have avatars. :-)

One weird point - I looked at most of the threads I was reading before the change, and as I said most had reset my viewed counter (all posts were marked new). But not all! There was at least one thread where the first new post was where it should have been on a multi-page thread. Like I said, weird.
 
Wow, new website looks great!

Good choice on using XenForo by the way, definitely the go-to forum software these days... Super simple, and customizable.. :)

Visually everything looks pretty good I think, however I think the message list background color looks a bit odd (to me at least), as the background color of the message list (and font color) is not quite consistent with the rest of the website (compare it to the thread view, for example)

I actually played around with the style sheet in Chrome's element editor and came up with this (see attachment).

(I've ran some forums using XenForo and UI.X in the past! :P) Let me know if you need any help.

Just my 2 PSI though, but looks good!

Looks great randy. nice layout ,colors are easy on the eyes for long viewing sessions and navigating and searches are easy.Thanks for the extra effort!
 
I like it except google search results for ccrx end in 404's.

I also can't find the option to set the number of posts per page?
