Trouble with vision handset

Brummkreisel

Enjoy sound of silence
Today's diving trip ended 5 minutes before getting wet :deadhorse
Yesterday everything was fine when preparing the unit. But today the unit did not respond when I tried to switch it on. Ok, could be missing battery power due to what ever reason.
After changing batteries the unit responded but displayed unexpected screens. Finally the center button seems to be defect. The bar indicating that the button was pressed does not disappear. Thus it is not possible to confirm questions waiting for this button.
Unfortunately it is the second time that such a button is broken ... :disappoin

I'm afraid that the unit will the factory again ...

Does anybody know a trick to get over such an issue like the 3 finger grip for windows?

You can remove all the batteries and then press the left button to discharge the capacitor. That is as close to ctrl-alt-del you can get.

You can try new batteries.

You can try soaking the button in warm water for an hour or two and then silicon-oil overnight.

Otherwise it is broken, so you'll have to try being more careful in future.

Matt.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

to be more careful, hmmm, means probably to replace the pouch by a stainless stell cage ...
