Triton = C96?

Hi
For a few weeks, this section has been on and nobody has post anything on it :(
I don't have a Triton but I got the feeling :) it is an interesting machine and I would like to read more about it.
Is anybody out there using a Triton?
To start the discussion, I would like to ask, as a bit of provocation to generate a bit of noise :), whether a Triton is like a C96 on steroid?
Thanks
Jale

TRITON Front RB

Hello Jale,

Sorry to be out of this section ;) English is not my natural language, and we are working hard on CE certification, and starting the sells.

SO to answer you, Triton is not an C96... it's better :D Seriously, we started the project on a O2 Front RB, but rapidly it becomes interesting to have an mCCR Front RB... so we made the TRITON mCCR ! Lighter, smaller than other RB, is either performant. You can come on our website : multi3s.com to see some info... more soon, and actually automatic english translator, but are working too to translate all the site.

It's easy for recreationnal diver to test it, because of the front position you can put it on a lot of config. Rec Diver, SM...

Thanks for your interrest, and your provocation ;)

Training standards are registered at CMAS.c actually, and Aldo is working with us to register at TDI.

You can try it for this time in France, Italia, Switzerland and Benelux...

Some time ago I had a similar idea, mounting a Dolphin SCR with 3L Carbon Tank at front for shalow dives, just like LAR but with nitrox 60-80%.
I will test the Triton in the next weeks or months and keep updates in this forum. The concept is great, some test datas about scrubber performance would be nice in future. I know one of the test divers had pushed the Triton up to 120 m(!).

I am still hoping to find some spare time to test it down there in sotuh france. Already had an interesting chat with (I think) Bertrand via faceb*** - well, let´s see what 2014 will bring... ;-)
