Hello,

Is someone still using Subsea Systems Digital display DS-1, HUD and kidney for KISS Classic?
Any positive or negative experience/thoughts?
Is it possible to get service or repair for these components nowadays?

i still use the kidney with a shearwater plugged in , ds1 died , think they all went in the end , good kit but unfortunately had a few flaws ,,

Im pretty sure that Sub Sea Solutions aren't in business any more so service would be unavailable for them

I have a Subsea DS -1 and HUD from Jason McHattan for my Classic Kiss that had a HUD replaced few years back but now the DS-1 LCD wrist display had faded off and on that I could barely read it and Jason had quitted the business from what I heard so it can't be repaired any more. I have since changed the kidney using a fischer cable SW Predator.
Stuck with the Subsea stuffs now but the HUD is still good. Wonder if anyone out there who knows how to repair the DS-1.

While Diving it - Pos : nice & simple/ Neg : no

Is it possible to get service or repair for these components nowadays?

Do not know, but i've heard no you can't anymore (so if it's cheap enough then buy it Then if it needs repairing go down the Shearwater setup for KISS)

I dive KISS Classic with original O2-displays.

If someone wants to offer a diveready HUD + O2-display (or computer) combo with reasonable costs, I am interested.
