Ok guys same question . I notice the expire date on a 44 lb jug of molecular products sorb has 2/2022 date on it, it's never been opened on a bone dry no humidity basement shelf, how long would you use it ?

My gallon of distilled water has an expiration date as well.

I have a keg of sorb, got from old stock, label has rubbed off. Still use it.
Yours being in a sealed container, probably another 5 years until I might raise an eyebrow at the date.

Stops working? How? That is like saying a bottle of propane is too old and may no longer be flammable. Unless the container is compromised and it is no longer sealed, it is going to be good. It's like an expiration date on table salt.

Things start growing in it? More likely to find a tropical rain forest on Mars.

Thats why i ask for actual data not just opinions. It is sealed in a cool dry dark enviornment, no o2 no co2 in container. It is basicly an inert material that is chemically activated until you breathe it.

I did once hear about some face cream that was tested for contamination and they found fungus living on the bactericide.

I never assume nothing can grow.
