Shearwater Research is excited to announce that Shearwater Cloud is now available as an Open Beta.

For Android users, the app is available immediately for download on the Google Play Store.
For iOS users, the app is currently undergoing app review by Apple and will be available soon.

I haven't been able to get my iPhone 6 to connect with my petrel EXT. Anyone else having issues or have any tips for me?

Just got it to work with my students iPhone 7 and a petrel 2. Mine is a Petrel 1. Wonder if that is why it is not working.

Hi Michael, if your EXT is a Petrel 1, then it doesn't have the bluetooth low energy chip that's required for the Cloud apps. It will connect to the Shearwater Cloud desktop when it is released. The expected release date for this is summer 2017.

The Cloud apps only support Petrel 2, Perdix and Perdix AI.
