Replace backplate to lighten up the jj

Come on Nick - I could turn it back to you...

Where do you think your back goes?
If I wore my unit cinched-up tight like a saddle on a horse you might have a point; but I don't, there's a lot of slack. Therefore there's some extra room for the lungs to expand into.

flat the unit will rest on your back regardless of shoulder strap length, vertical (I have seen you dive lol) the unit will slip down you back and still be in contact with your ... wait for it ... back

I replaced my backplate with a much heavier one, because i need the additional weight. the new backplate is by far not as V-shaped as the original one.
Until now it worked quite well. The only place, where it sometimes feels a bit restricted is on the surface.
But maybe there are some hidden dangers, that i didn't think about.
