Great weekend at NSS-CDS conference.

CCR Liberty was very popular among the cave divers due to its fault tolerant design:
4 oxygen sensors
2 helium sensor – patented
2 methods of PPO2 measurement
2 independent computers
2 solenoid valves
4 displays
No single electronics failure will bring the system down.

Lots of interest in the Flex CCR sidemount rebreather. Try dives on both units were very popular.

Thanks to everyone who came. Subgravity, HammerHead, Seabear, Golem, SF2/Depth Percption Dive Center, IANTD, KISS, JJ Rebreathers, Shearwater, Dive Rite, and many more.
 
If there is anyone out there who didn't go to the conference and is not a member of NSS-CDS I will tell you that I am very glad I joined recently and went to the workshop!

The event was put together very well and the lineup of speakers was incredible. The sponsors were great and I enjoyed meeting all the explorers that were in attendance.

I myself am not a "full-time" cave diver but after hearing the presentations this past Saturday I greatly respect those who go to great lengths for conservation of both our cave systems as well as our water supply. This work is so important and this is why I can't stop telling people at work about what I heard at the event. People are interested and amazed that these underground systems exist and are so elaborate. If there is one thing I took from the conference that will stay with me for a lifetime is that sharing the knowledge about our impact on what we cannot see such as an underground ecosystem is vital and needs to be an ongoing effort.

Great work to everyone involved and thanks a bunch for allowing me to come... :)
