I went diving this weekend!

this was some time ago, at Tarifa (Spain), diving with Kiss rbs and DiverTug scooters.

Just got back from Bonaire. Took my Kiss Spirit LTE for the first time on a tropical trip. I only had to pack three times to get it all right! On OC I had a solid system of packing down, but adding the RB kinked that up some. I always take a video camera, lights, housing, etc., along, so that's one bag. The third time was the charm, though, and it finally all fit!

We stayed at Capt. Don's Habitat. We were able to get 40s for bailout, 13s or 19s for O2, and sorb at Tech Diving Services which is on-site. We had a combination of boat dives and shore diving. The staff was very accomodating, and just asked that we get back to the boat at 70 minutes. My buddy and I splashed first and came up last, with none of the OC divers having to wait very long for us, so it worked well. Shore dives were excellent as usual, and we logged over 24 hours of bottom time during the trip. I'll post edited video up later once I've gotten caught up!

Its all happening this weekend and for the next few months at Auckland University, New Zealand. Simon Mitchell, Neal Pollock, and a great team of people are doing more really important test studies for all CCR divers in the future to benefit from. Its still really early to start talking about specifics as you all know that the results can only be spoken about after publication. Real Exciting stuff.

Josh and I took a CCR Cave class on a mile long swim today at Manatee Springs in Florida. Here is a group selfie where we surfaced at Friedman Sink about 2000 ft upstream from where we entered. Great weather down here and the flooded caves are just opening up. Nice time to be in Florida.

I spent a week in Marianna! Following Michael and Josh's course on Facebook though! :)

Was out in Cave Country for the NSS-CDS workshop and demo day. Other than the demo day I got a few fun dives in: saw some new (to me) areas of Ginnie, and hit Gator Hole which I had never done. It's always fun to see something new!

Everyone had a great time at the demo day trying out our Rebreathers and DPVs.

Did my first diving in the state of Missouri. Friday I dived Roubidoux spring and today Cannonball. We were out here for the NSS-CDS Midwest workshop and squeezed in a cave dive before and after. I also brought my new camera rig and took it on its second dive today. The first was last weekend where the strobes were not connected due to a broken wire. The viz was not great in either cave but they were really fun dives and its always great to see new systems. Both are great for CCRs as they have pits dropping over 60 meters.

My buddy (Dave) and I went to cannonball yesterday also. But after surveying the terrain, we decided to move on. Went back to Roubidoux hoping to dive there, but the flow was up. Watch another diver attempt to enter, but he got blown out both attempts he made. At least this saved us from getting all geared up only to not be able to make the dive.
