G Box

Came across this thread while Googling !! Many of you will know me of course from YD etc... but I hadn't appreciated that there was another CCR forum, so hopefully I can help out and get stuck in !

Just wanted to thank you for the kind comments about the G-Box. I had a bad motorbike accident in 2011 from which I am as recovered as I am ever likely to be now but it was comments like these that lead to the G-Box being further developed in the meantime.

It is, after all, unfair to keep their beauty only to ourselves and so G-Boxes will be very soon available to order!

Post some pictures Graham ?

Blimey all these people I know !! Thanks everyone.

Dave and others - rather embarrassingly I only have a handful of iphone piccies. When you have got 2 G-Box's in the house there isn't the need to take many photos! Well thats my excuse !

This will soon be rectified though, as the development team are off to Malta in a few weeks for a final shakedown, where we will be taking photos, video etc..

Also regret I am unable to post piccies until I have 15+ posts and I don't want to just randomly reply to stuff to get my post count up!!!

Perhaps anyone who wants piccies can drop me a pm with your email addy and I can send them on ?

Cheers

Graham :)

I'm just about to buy an inspo that has a sub-standard alibox so I might be in the market for one of these G-Man once I've converted it to BMCL
And that "Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurge of Shame" is prop wash from my awesome scooter of doom

April Fools was last week Mr Bailey !!! :bondage:

You're new Revo must be ready by now surely?!

That Malin purge sure was funny !! :chuckle::chuckle:

You'll see Broady.
Putting the rEvo off till after the summer and the inspo will tide me over.
It's in an ali box and is going to cost me £1,000 so I'd be mad not to really.
We can all ave an inspo day out

that looks a cracking bit of kit, and it has a really well thought out base

Thanks SoggyB :)

Other than my dive friends not many will know that I came up with a Delta shaped stand on the original G-Box before the JJ was released. There are many differences but to the casual observer they can appear similar.

Since the original Mk1 box the stand has evolved with large corner 'D' rings for clipping equipment off to. Also removable legs so that we can change the height if need be or remove for ultimate travel packing. Slightly angled legs so that the Inspo stands on a sure foot and doesn't fall over like the yellow box does! Front uprights that can accommodate sliding D'rings so that you can use a sidemount system without having to have a seperate buttpad.

Also it's little things like the curved rear section which adds to the complexity of the build but I insist on because it allows you to tilt and quickly spin the unit around for cleaning etc.. - pretty useful, and moreso when you run 4x3's like I do.

G :)
