Circlips for breathing loop and ADV

Hi guys and gals,
Has anyone ever had issues with the circlips that retain the breathing loop and the ADV and exhalation tee piece breaking?

I decided to do a tear down of my unit to replace the o'rings and the circlips and noticed that some were broken. The one in the ADV was broken and when I tried to remove the one from the other side for sizing it snapped as well.

Does anyone know what sizes they are and where I can get them?

Hi John,

Presumably you mean the wire retaining rings (a little like a split ring) which hold the convoluted breathing hose onto the tee-pieces? At least, these are the means of attachment on my JJ. If so, instead of replacing like for like (they are the devil's own job to fit...) you could use plastic cable ties instead.

Yeah the small circlips that are located on the loop hoses and on the inside of both the ADV and Exhalation Tee.

I have checked locally and so far nothing.
 
Hi John,

I had the same issue on my Optima - on maintenance they broke.
It's probably not what you want to hear but I replaced the original tee's with golem tee's which don't have those in 'em.
All I need now is hose clamps.
What unit do you dive? If Optima I can help you with those as I got some left
Check DiveGearExpress in the States, pretty good selection there,too.
