amusing cylinder sticker on ebay

Mike Ferguson

WTF is that?
Scuba Diver Cylinder Tank Decal Fire Extinguisher Sticker AMAZING AND UNIQUE! | eBay

Now I'm not normally one for elf n safety but even I can imagine the great amusement and hilarity that would ensue when a fire breaks out and someone runs up grabs the 12L of O2 you're just about to decant from and opens the valve into the flames.

if you can't open it the text says:

Turn your boring tank in to something that stands out from the crowd
with this super amazing FIRE EXTINGUISHER sticker!
The decal measures apx 23cm X 30cm and will fit a 12L and a 15L tank.
Pictured is my personal 15L tank which I sprayed red and applied this custom sticker.
Turns quite a few heads at Stoney Cove when you strap a Fire Extinguisher to your back!

Is it me being a killjoy or is this the daftest thing I have seen for a very long time?

I wouldn't get one until "extinguisher" was spelled properly...

While on the subject of ebay photos, this one caught my eye today. From the ad:
"You are bidding on my “Blue Man” Dry Suit. This was dove in fresh water only (Lake Michigan) and mostly in the winter (35 degree water). I am now in need of a married fat guy drysuit. That’s why it’s up for auction."

I remember Cashsports in Glasgow refusing to fill my red AL80 because they said it could be mistaken for a propane bottle.

I've always thought that was one of the all time best posts on RBW. It makes me chuckle and wince in equal amounts.

me and zepp laughed for 4 hours and then called extra help for the clear up....i was still finding yellow powder for years after
i now have co2 in the house rather than powder:-)
