I've been reading for a while but decided to join in as I have rather a lot of questions. :read:

A bit nervous about posting - in the lion's den.

I've been diving a couple of years now, have just started doing a little bit of deco, and thinking about a RB. I may be getting a bonus from work in September and am frittering away the hours dreaming about how to spend it. The problem I have is the more I think abuot it, the more I read, the more confused I get.

Bear with me ;)

G'day Sarah,
You probably think people are sick of reading those "i wanna get into CCR diviing, give me advice" posts.. but everyone on on here aksed that at one time or another... so we all take the time to give new or prospective divers our advice. Some people will advise to wait a little longer, some will say go for it now, nearly all of them will recommned the unit they dive as the one you should buy lol.
But don't let that put you off! It is all worthwhile advice and it is what you read from it that counts.
Welcome to CCR explorers.. ask all the questions you wish, no matter how NOOB or silly they may seem, as your silly question could possibly prevent someone who didn't ask it from making the same silly mistake!

I think this forum is nice enough to ask what you wish without ridicule... so go ahead.. ask away!

Oh and the most valuable thing to you is try dives .. you are fortunate to be in an area blessed with lots of good CCR and divers... post on here asking for try dives I'm sure you'll get plenty of offers, do as many as you can on the different units and it will all become clear what you want.
