Would be great comparing these 2 leaders on the recreational market. The MK6 is an Eccr, so an advantage in decompression, means longer no-deco time and you can fit any bottles available at different dive centers. Also travel weight seems to be unbeatable. Price of Explorer is barely 1000...

OK thanks for information. Just one more thing. I understand that the Explorer is developed from VR Technology (Kevin Gurr) for Hollis. Is the unit manufactured at VRT in UK or at Hollis in USA? What about support in Europe? From VR Technology?

NO, I need a back plate to fit my drysuit inflation, that's all. With this unit no other dives are planed as recreational. For deeper and more I will use the Boris.

OK, sounds good. But dry suit is mandatory. When I get the chance to test dive this unit I will do it. But only with back plate & harness, not the OW BC... So far I found in Europe only Vobster Quay in UK as reseller and intructor. On next dive show in January I will have a closer look on it...

seems to be similar to Halcyon Cinch. Also a neat solution I will consider. Just seems to adjust, the CCR must sit otherwise it's to heavy to adjust. Or will it be enough to bend over? I want maximum comfort getting in and out.

I send my Ouroboros back to service 6 months ago and get it back in good as new condition. So far the service was top notch. Hopefully this will be the case in future.
