    Gas switch using air

There is a similar thread that I think Ccr Dave made a point that most of the helium is off gassed by the time u get shallow anyway... So technically I guess switching to air are 60m could increase deco? You are on gassing and off gassing in all stages of the dive... If u can't do the required...

    JJ-CCR Solenoid Maintenance

The solenoid is just a few metal shims resting against a seat.. The magnetic field distorts it enough to allow gas in... So it has bigger all moving parts... If u wish to clean it to prevent dirt build up.. Just be careful and most importantly remember the order of the shims... Oh and u don't...

    Adding pO2 alarm to JJ

The JJ runs on a simple principle, It tells you the information you need, nothing you don't so you can go and make a concious decision on what to do. It is designed so as to be passive and thus make the diver himself Active in monitoring for issues, therefore increasing overall awareness of...

    CO2 Monitor (End-tidal) - good news

Maybe a bit of collaboration from all interested parties here is in order...what we really need is an electronics engineer to spend the time designing it.. with input from all of the above, once we have decided on a workeable unit, we impliment it into a housing. I think for simplicity an under...

    Enough bailout O2

Thanks for posting! it was a great lesson to learn... I think a lot of cave divers only plan enough for the exit and neglect deco gases... you rarely see Open water divers do that as the Deco is their exit... Having dived with Gabe.. I believe he has the Bailout calcs nailed. How hard is it to...
