Finally gave up using the Draeger retaining strap due to lower lip ulcers, Aqualung do a military version I'm told, which cant be bought by us civilians !!
Anyone in the military used one or even get hold of one please ?

There is an o-ring under the screw head that secures the lever onto the barrel.
You might want to obtain a spare in case it's damaged, before you fully service the DSV.
Tribolube seems to be allow far smoother operation and doesn't clog like christolube.

Flights from the UK to either Hong Kong or South Korea then onto Truck or Guam flying east, seem to be most prolific.

What's the outer diameter of the cylinder, did you machine the cylinder ends on your lathe, guess you used a saddle (correct term?)to support the cantilever end out in space ?
