I was just the model for the shot, I know nothing about UW photography.. A mate took the photo as well as the shot I use for my avatar. It was in Fiordland here in NZ under an overhang that went on for ever. From memory that was around 35 metres deep. Very dark there as the fiords have a very deep tannin rich freshwater layer over the salt so very little light. Huge black coral trees in 15 metres of water. :0)
