Regarding your mk 15 travel frame thing.

I have done that to a Dolphin. Made a fibreglassthingy that doubles as a stand and a holder for 2 buttmounted 2 liters.

I have pictures if interested, by regular e-mail i guess.

What comes to my mind is that the electronicspod and the plumbing might be in the way, and need modification. But what do i know
On the other hand i now have a Dolphin with a packplate on my lower back that is actually more comfortable than the original version. And it stands on its own.

3/16 to 1/8 tube converters then a fine metering valve will fit nicely, you'll need to shorten the 1/8 pipe ends of the converter a little, it's tight. (Assuming of course you use a 1/8 pipe straight needle. Set for max depth on non blocked regs press Mac more in shallows, or block the ip. You could use a jubilee clip over thick hose to block the holes on the scuba pros, and tape the thread.
