Dive-Rite or Tecline CCR Wings on JJ

I have the old sail type wing on my JJ, and was thinking of swapping it out for either a Diverite CCR wing or a Tecline II (VMS) CCR wing that I have to hand.

Has anyone used either of these successfully?

If you have them to hand, why not just give each a go and see which lends itself best to the task?

I assume by 'the old sail type wing', you mean the boxy thing that came with the analog CE JJ? That was horrible but the debadged Custom Divers S40 that I got with my 2015 DiveCAN is still on it and is perfect for the job, although looking a bit tired now. I have replaced the inflator hose for a shorter one, similar to the ones that Halcyon use. The original was way too long for my liking.

I've no idea what wing JJ-CCR are supplying the latest ones with, anyone know?

On my original pre-CE JJ I used a Halcyon Evolve 40, which was very good and a Golem Gear CCR wing which was virtually bulletproof. I also tried a Halcyon Eclipse 30 single-tank wing, which did the job just fine whilst diving but didn't have enough lift to support the unit in the water if I had to remove it for any reason.

The Halcyon CCR wing that the GUE lads put on their JJs also looks very nice, but I imagine it doesn't come cheap with the 'H' surcharge.

I have the Tecline Donut 22 special edition rebreather wing on my JJ and love. Has the little string holder for counter lung dump and also has the SPG holders too.

I find it gives plenty of lift and the air is kept lower to pick up your butt more so your not as leg heavy. Very nice quality construction as well

Yeah, I've been using it on mine and get on well with it
