Other control for vision possible?

New SF2s come with a Petrel 2 controller.

No Michael, it has the Petrel as a monitor to the controller inside the lid.
I have asked if it was possible to switch my Predator controller for a Petrel, but it wasn´t since the Petrel dont have any controller functions in it.

I've seen your mods, look really good! You can fly the same with the unmodified Vision if the computer dies.



You'd have to be able to calibrate the secondary, and then I guess you select a lower than low SP - say 0.4. Then you have a parachute. If you haven't noticed you have a major problem before then then I'm not sure you can ever be saved...

One setpoint lower than the other. That's a nice way of working two active controllers without solenoid wars, Matt, good thinking

One other option is to plumb in a CMF valve and have it feed from a capped 1st stage with some cell splitters and a Petrel as secondary cell monitor. That way if the vision electronics go down you can still easily dive it as an mccr. Easily enough done as all bits required to do this are readily available.
