Ive just been quoted $20 per kg for sorb.:behead:

Ive lived in some pretty remote places so Im aware of what on costs and lack of competition can do to pricing and am not going to start a LDS bashing exercise.

Just wondering what other's most expensive sorb has been and where?
 
That sounds crazy to me... I recently for off Morehead and asked to have my rebreather bottle topped up from 2000psi to 3000psi and they charged me $22. I was going to flip out and pitch a fit but found myself kicking myself for asking in the first place. I should have known... :-)

Thats OK. Sofno is $11 in Jakarta but big orders need notice.

It sounds like the market will free up with a few new import licenses being processed

Cebu. To be fair, their other prices seem quite fair
 
Here in NZ the retail price per kilo of sorb seems to sit around $16.

Those of us not so silly as to bother with the middle men get it in at around $6/kg. LOL

Everyone's pail or bulk price seems about the same. My sticker shock was for by the kilo at a take it or leave it out of the way place. At home we also buy direct.

PS with the AUD dropping like a stone 8 Pacific Pesos is a good price...about 6 or 7 real dollars..lol.. :flame:
 
Price sounds reasonable for the Philippines unfortunately :-( I am in alona beach frequently and it's about the same price there... Goes even up if you go to busuanga island...
That's why I bring my sorb all the way from Germany to shanghai and then take it to the Philippines, Fiji or Indonesia...
