How about a Facebook page to help people buy and sell Rebreathers ??

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Buy-and-Sell-Rebreathers-Worldwide/567577663260557?ref=stream

I am hoping this is not against forum rules ??

If you think about, the people who are buying and selling will have the peace of mind, that they will be able to see everything about the person they are buying/selling from :-) if they have no Facebook history then don't trade with them, or make sure you know more about them first !!

Completely free and a great way to see what is on offer in the market place...

How about a forum - where everyone gets to know each other and doesn't charge for adverts...... ;)

I have to agree with Clare on this one. CCRX already offers this ability and gives people a chance to develop a long term view of the sellers and buyers.

Currently I get messages from customers on personal FB page, company FB page, Poseidon FB page, Silent Diving FB page, AP FB Page, LinkedIn, Twitter, RBW, TDS, Scubaboard, email, Messenger and SMS

It takes all day just to check them. Its getting ridiculous.

Better to use the forum IMO.

Also despite being "on facebook" unless you are "friends" or happen to be an idiot who hasn't set their security features up properly your buyer/seller will know less about you than on a Forum!

How would knowing that I have too much time on my hands and my mates are all drunks help you decide whether to buy stuff? :-P

dont have FB

Me either. FB blurs the boundary between work/private too much and the thought of posting lots of info about myself on a fundamentally insecure medium whose policies to selling data are 'variable', seems a bit darwinian to me.

I do agree that forums are the better option, just that not everyone is into the forum scene :-( so is just another way for the small rb community to check out what's on the market :-)
