Trimix inline mixing

How much He is going to blow by compressor rings?
Is compressor safe for hyperoxic use?

Personally I intend to stick with PP blending as while it isn't the fastest, it is a completely known quantity.

If I wanted better, I would get a set of scales accurate enough to blend by weight.

I can say it is not bad piece of equipment and can recommend it. It is same principle of work as it is the Tri-Hunter's, it has some aditional functionality switching off the compressor if the O2 goes over 45%. Lot of centers here around have them and say they work as they should. Sure they are not made for higher than 40%O2. The only problem is it is not cheap.

We are not getting it because it is more accurate, we are getting it so more members in our club can dive nitrox without cleaning bottles.

And then when we are getting a nitrox version we can buy a trimix version so we have all.

For that I made my own, that I run with my small MCH6 coltry compressor.

The only problem I'm having is that the company's in the diving business have a different view on service.....no one answers to mails.

I can´t get a hold of any of them.

Was in use on one OC expedition I participated, 60+ diving for 10 people every day.
Gases we mixed was something in the range 17/50 and 50% or so.
I was not involved into the mixing but my impression it worked well and fast when tuned in, AFAIR final He-content was a bit to high compared to what the display said so it was tuned down a fraction and all au point then.
Temperature was hot croatian summer, might be different when cold.
Compressors were brand new, no blow by AFAIR.

Nitrox absolute no-brainer with it I'd say, I'd still guess you need dedicated people mixing the gases with a feeling for it, so not like a membrane, not for "everyone" in the club IMHO.

Hi,

a little after date with my response but I use this unit and I am reasonably satisfied. However, after sales of MPS is very poor and not getting any response to my emails. Only when I show interest in purchasing a booster response comes quickly. I think there are better suppliers than mps. I use the unit for nitrox and trimix inn combination with a super silent coltri 500. What do you have now inn use for blenderunit.

Sincerally regards,
Ron

I don't own a Tri Hunter, but have used one at Amigos Dive Center in Cave Country for years. It seems to work consistently.
