Electronic vs manual CCR

Gotta love technocracy! It's always better to keep shit to yourself than to educate others, amirite?

O.K., let me summarise in English.

Poland has the most amazing research facilities in the fields of hyperbaric medicine and warfare (i.e. using scooters and rebreathers for example) and some very incredibly talented people, and accumulated experience and technology (I met the people and saw the "stuff" some of it Soviet, and had the opportunity to touch and play with some of this stuff).

RC has a third-way forward which is neither eCCr or mCCR (or mmSCR or pSCR...). He has patented it, and the 3 patents together (and a bit more) would allow for the realization of a rebreather which without O2 sensors and electronics would deliver constant pPO2.

This based on some kind of mechanical mixing machine and counting breaths (tested using O3).

We could get copies of the patents, and try to understand more, but that will not help us because they are in Polish.

RC likes teasing a little bit, but he wants to tell... but even if he were not teasing a little I am not sure how well we could understand what he is saying.

I am trying to convince him to write a scientific article in Polish and English similar to those which have already been published and links posted here.

However, he says he prefers to write Patents than such articles.

So, here we are.

On the topic of mCCR vs. eCCR, I like neither.

I prefer a variable orifice like in the Pelagian in combination with a simple controller like the ISC APECS and an entirely independent pPO2 Monitor with separate O2 Cells like the Mark Munro pPO2 Datel based boards (all with two independent O2 bottle supplies), but I am very intrigued at RC "elegant solution" - reason which I played his game a little to entice him to tell us more (and to learn more myself).

End of English summary.

When should I have gotten the impression that I was supposed to show you anything?

We do not want to stand accused of ruining the thread... so maybe I thought you had something to contribute.

Maybe I am wrong.

I cannot get anything more out from RC.

eCCR vs. mCCR has been beaten to death in every forum for the last 6 years or so that I have been diving rebreather.

RC has something different which I thought was interesting.

Do you like eCCR or mCCR?
