Be glad you don't live here...

I went back into the ruins and found a fish swimming in my cutlery drawer in the kitchen. It's funny actually!

Pic is upside down, I'm on my iPhone and can't quite manage to rotate it.

Oh well.

Looking for a fillet knife probably.

I'm on the way to Rhode Island to bring Explorer back to NJ. Looks like another winter aboard ship. It's all good.

I had two rigs in the van in the parking lot where I was sleeping. All the rest are still in captivity. Muddied but Unbowed to paraphrase Sir Winston.

So, when the push came to shove....

Which two rigs did you pick?

I hope you are OK

Sorry to hear your loss Dave... Hope the insurance will recover the monetary loss and those memories will be yours forever anyway. But it might just prompt a needed revision of goods in store;) I'd be also interested which rigs did you choose to keep with you :)

If it's any consolation that lino in the kitchen looked like it was due for a refresh anyhow... Natures way of saying you needed a renovation...

:)

Hi Dave,

Just read this thread, glad you both are safe and sound.
If I lived closer I would have driven over and helped you with whatever.
In thoughts am with you guys;
Take care

Warm regards,

Ivan

Made it to New York Harbor on Explorer last night. Re-entering the house today. Not going to be fun at all.

Pekka will be happy to know that I've been sharing my bunk in the van with the JJ and the rEvo is packed aboar Explorer. The two Meg's were 1000 miles away. Have all the rest mud sodden and unhappy. They need to sit for a while: milling machine and lathe are rusting solid.

Dave,

I'm happy that you are working things out and you are safe and sound.

In another note, that doesn't solve the controversy. Your Megs were already in a safe place and you took a rEvo and a JJ.

Anyway. Good to know that.

Keep safe

Sure you'll get them freed off and moving again :)

Today spent treasure-hunting in a foot of mud for rebreathers. Pressure washer becoming a friend. Unearthed the odd dozen of the things. Ought to be fun seeing who can identify the pile.

Anyone know how to rotate pics on an iPhone? Have not seen a real computer since the deluge.

More to come tomorrow.

Dave,
off the top of my head:-
Cis Lunar Mk 5
Apocalypse
Sport Kiss
Mk15 (could be a Biomarine)
FGT chassis missing most of the insides
And an Azimuth
They now look quite clean. Apparently you can just stick the Apoc in the dishwasher to clean it.....

Simon A

Simon did perfectly... The FGT was stripped to dry out the counterlungs. Really under rated kit, the FGT.

So here's a few more... Some might be cryptic as they are just heaped up.
