Narked at 90 Deep Pursuit

Deep Pursuit 001
Many told me I could forget it, you will never get one and many other versions. I GOT ONE and it is finally here!

Have done one dive with it so far, took it to 50m and it works perfectly :)
I bought it as a whole unit but I only got the lid so far. It was sent from the old owner directley to Narked for a full service before they passed it on to me.

The rest of the gear will come next week after some trouble with the shipping company and the cylinders.

I must say it is really sad that Narked at 90 don´t sell them any more! You can make a old classic into a first class unit with this upgrade. Put it in a alibox, get other lungs and you will have a wannabe JJ with the new cover the guys in switzerland made.

But sadly that is the result when one asshole decides he knows best.....:moon:

Hmmm..... VERY nice!

This is definately a superb way to bring old Classics into the 21st century.

I see a product that should be "assembled in the USA from domestic and imported parts" and then sold back to places where CE is required at the buyers own risk.... ;)

If there is a serious interest in these, I'll talk to John and Bruce and see what can be done. The entire thing AFAIK is the CE one, and we do not have those issues here. Hmm... boxes of delrin bits from John, boxes of 'Lekkies from Bruce, a little soldering... why not. How about a show of hands for interest?

The Shearwater as a controller is definately one of the nicest systems available. It's heads and shoulders above anything similar on the market today.

Congratulations on an excellent procurement, expecially as it's the first one made. Well done! Many are jealous... ;)

i'd def have one given the chance.
 
Yours is technically minus 001 it was the first prototype that we tested so it was hand built.
Brent has some of the first parts in a box case on the wall, all production units are a little different from yours so yours is the geneses unit....can i have it back please? i think i would like to keep it:poke:
im very surprised it was sold in the first place, yours needed a bit of updating and upgrading when it came in but all in all for something that had been in the field for 6 or 7 years it was in good condition, our solenoid was working great like it was designed to do. i guess most people have forgotten or don’t give a shit that we designed the solenoid in the JJccr Deep-pursuit and the chameleon/aurora blue.
Or the part of us building designing half the stuff in production on units at the moment.
so for all those that have been attacking Fred in the shed for the last couple of years you have made my life a little bit of misery and the greater world a shit place to play together.

No, I admit it. It was your fault!
If you hadn't bought the gold playing machine, I wouldn't have 24k plated everything in sight.

Bet that Swiss army knife is worth a mint. Must have 20thou of gold on it!

Probably a bit over complicated to produce a supply line. It would make more sense to sell the design, lock-stock- and barrel with CAD's, design files and IP with a non-competition agreement.
That way, you can make all the bits cheaper than our UK machine shop and maintain internal control of manufacture....and better margins!
 
The unit is soon complete! I have ordered an alibox and at the moment every single part has been taken apart and thoroughly cleaned!

It will be as new when Im done :)
