I am not familiar with that valve assembly... But depending on your skill. If the internals allow... I would soft solder the hole shut, and re drill a hole facing more towards the mouth.... If that's more than you want to do... I would bend up a small piece of ss that is in a circle goes...

By central flapper you mean exhaust valve? It would make sense that it shouldn't blow air at it. Or make a defector

What is the consensus about home built certification? Make the rebreather look good and make a good looking cert card... ? Or is it own your own boat or cave and bypass everyone. And dive places where nobody checks?

Does anyone know what happened to Dave sutton's site? And even Tom rose's site... I know some of it is on the rebreather site.. but not everything. When I was a trade school I loved his site and printed pages and pages.. it's to bad as homebuilder some of us have to redesign the wheel.

Reason for asking... I have a bio pack. And they use a spring in there for positive pressure with a full face mask on land. And I think I need a stronger spring to help the WOB be better... in horizontal position.... now it will not reduce in a vertical position like yours.

So does it breath better than a kiss classic? Because that's back mount lungs as well.... Your 6liter lung can maybe move away from your body more than a kiss. But the weight help keep it tighter to your body and keeps pressure on it most times... right? So WOB should in theory be better I...
