yes I had a meg to test for a few weeks, so i did several dives on it. I feeled not confortable on it. The hoses to short for me and also quite stiff, so i cannot move my head, the hud is useless as it flashes all the time and the displays unreadable. Also bulky and heavy unit. But it's bullet...

yes that's also what I thought. Of course when running the unit at the edge, a constant look at PPO2 is mandatory. I don't think he will increase much even with triggering the ADV, except if you completely purge the loop.

well it's all so damn easy with the Explorer. I had SCR and CCR background, so it is really no big deal for me. For weight I used 11 KG in all, so make the rig dive ready in cold water with trilaminate drysuit and Otter 200G undersuit: +- 30 KG.

finally did my course on the Explorer. Believe me or not: I pushed the unit to the limits and decompression was same than CCR. Instructor was on JJ and had 2 minutes on 6 meters and I had 1 minute on 3m with Explorer, both disappeared on the quite slow ascend. Also I had as "backup" a Shearwater...
