From my understanding of the AP strap, I'd say no as I believe it swivels. As mentioned I have the Drager strap & that is definitely angled, so fairly obvious which way it goes, but agree that the flange makes it difficult to get the zip tie secured.

I'm asthmatic & have been diving CCR for a few years now without noticing any issues, however my asthma is not exercise induced. I'd be interested in hearing what the doc has to say.

The only problem I've had with the bowl is that it's not super stable, as the base is relatively narrow. Doesn't give me a high degree of confidence if it's on a table above a hard floor!

Second one for me too. After the most recent occurrence it's been fine though. Dived it again today and it was good as gold.

I ended up disconnecting it from the head to save the battery at least. But fortunately it stayed off when I put it back on :)

Anybody else experienced this? After diving today I can't get the damn thing to switch off. The LED's fade away as if its going to switch off, then it just bounces right back on again. It's been washed in fresh water & well dried but that hasn't helped.

Hey Mike, they are actually pretty easy to make for yourself. The biggest problem for me was generating enough heat to melt the lead. You can get copper or stainless tubing easy enough. Cut it to a suitable length, block one end & pour in the lead. Shrink wrap it to avoid any galvanic corrosion...
