I just got a couple of Js dropped off at the house today. Given it's industrial at 150 bar we have to use here, but it cost me 300,000 rp. Around $25, and maybe 15 of that is delivery. Had to buy the first bottles for $100 each last year, but refills are so cheap, and a text message away!

I've ordered one to try on mine. Shipping to Singapore came out about $30, so negligible.

I like that one, but wonder if the harness slots at the top could be wider apart to match the plate width on the original backplate, which I feel lets the harness go through the lung loops better. Dave

While I was earlier looking at Ally plates to lighten up the JJ diving out in Asia, I was wondering what is a good, heavy (5 or 6 kg) backplate to use in slightly cooler waters with a drysuit? I've been diving in Scotland over New Years and find a weight belt a total pain, so would like to add...

It can be done, I think there are a few instructors in the UK. Check the IANTD and TDI Websites.

No unfortunately, I couldn't imagine taking dive kit in Ryan Air, though we did drive across to Achill today to see where we dived, what, 14 years ago. A little bit rougher.....
