    curious

Yes comments of people who propably never dives the unit. I'm quite new to Sentinel, but the rig is a pleasure to dive. Easy to set up and IMHO the safetiest unit currently on the market. Negativ is just the quite heavy weight especially on airway travelling. And due to this huge electronic kit...

    soon new sentinel diver

I have read the manual more than 3 times... Just want some feedback of users hence the thread here. Made a check dive last WE and I was impressed by the WOB , which is really good for BMCL, close to Boris. Trim excellent, just need more lead than with Ouroboros. All in all a confortable unit...

A quick question about calibration. On the pre dive sequence there is no need to check the calibration, unlikely than Boris where you need to flush the loop 4x with O2 to see if the sensors are showing 99% O2 (and how fast each one react). I understand that the Sentinel calibrates himself when...

Help Please deep diving in Spain in September

My experinece in north mediteran sea is 18-22 °c at deco depth and 3-5 less on depth. This was last year september north Croatia, will be similar to Spain. I guess 15 °c at 100+m. Don't come to the idea diving wet :)

    Kent Tooling off board braket

@ Jackdiver: no, I don't want the travel frame, I want BMCL and case. @ Pat: I understood that it is designed for short cylinders & accu tanks. It's good to hear that even 3L cylinders fit, I was afraid it would disturb on the back and especially shoulders.

    Kent Tooling off board braket

Just seen the KT off board braket for Sentinel and wondering if it's possible to fit 3L or even 4L tanks on each side for DIL & O2. This would be a superb alternative to the travel frame. I think that's important when traveling to be flexible with tanks to be found locally. Not sure if there is...

cross over not yet, will be done in october. Just want to gamble the unit. After reflections, I will wait until the crossover to dive the unit. So far the Boris runs great.

    soon new sentinel diver

I made a couple of strip downs to get the feeling for the unit. I think I will do a try dive in pool as soon as I get the O2 adapter. Just wondering: when putting scrubber inside the unit there should be a audible "schlonk" so to speak. So far I heared nothing, but maybe it's because the...

    SF-1 pSCR rebreather

I have a prototype of SF2 for sale. It's alot like SF1 I guess. Sell it cheap as since yesterday the O2 sensors monitoring is not working anymore. I would take off the Shearwater controller and leave the unit for 1500 €. Would be perfect to convert back into a Pscr, or Mccr or what ever you...

+1. Think going that way and up road using adapter. Getting rid of the Poseidon stages maybe later if they need repair. Then I replace trough Apeks as Poseidon is far to expensive.

Ok, thanks alot for these precious advises. One more thing: one the O2 side my unit has M26x2 nitrox thread (I think for the CE it's mandatory). Do you guys uses adapter while being up road with other tanks or did you modify the 1. Stage to 5/8 DIN?

    soon new sentinel diver

Actually, I had no use for off board so far with Boris. My Sentinel has no off board connectors and there is no intend to fit them in near future. Just QC6 for BOV, so I can choose if I connect IN or OFF BOARD. Well, I have to admit that on first strip down I was confused, but now I get...

    soon new sentinel diver

Well yes that's what I thought. Best possible WOB is mandatory. Will think on it, but will surely get the 2L tank. Also will propably connect a QC6 connector to BOV and connect it directly to off board tank. I have plenty off time to make the unit how I want it to be. Thanks for responses...
