Deep Bailout Gas Choice for ~70M / 230FT

Depends on depth, gear and scooter availability. Short shallow hops (like the Hinckle) we'd swim. Deeper more gear intensive dives where swimming is not an option then spare scooters are needed. However, as we learned when we got burned a few years back, the loss of visibility which prevents...

Deep Bailout Gas Choice for ~70M / 230FT

We allow roughly 4 times (depending on volume of gear) We certainly don't plan for 4 lost scooters and RB failure on the same dive though!

Deep Bailout Gas Choice for ~70M / 230FT

Board help required - all units.

Was hoping for a few more of those promised to come in Matt to make a section. But as you asked - do people think they should be stickied in each relevant section or created in the library in their own 'teardown' section.

    Fast descents vs correct weighting

Some DOT spec bottles are heavier. A lot aren't though. In salt an empty Ali 80 with reg (mk25 or equiv) attached will rise up a line IF you give it a good shove to get it going. In fresh it may well hang around once it loses momentum. Not arguing that the bottle is not marginally positive...

I don't take it as criticism mate. Just using it as an illustration that we don't have to take offence :)
