I've missed something regarding a BOV & a caustic cocktail......why does the BOV become useless? My stage tins have as minimum a 2nd stage & LPH... David.

I've just completed my IANTD Normoxic course on the MEG in the Red Sea with PURE. On air I plumbed my GG BOV via a 'Lancer' manifold through the DIL 1st stage with plug in from off-board from single stage. Now using multiple stage gases it becomes less clear, BOV connected to bottom...

I dive one on my meg, you can offset the drop by twisting the loop on the dropped side, there's enough resistance in the bayonet o-rings to put a pre loaded anti twist to counter act the weight of the LPH. Meg feed to the BOV is on the left so loop drops that side, twisting the loop clockwise...

I dive a set of ISC neoprean OTS lungs, looking to remove the bottom fastex quick releases in favour of a bungie/clip solution, either via the waistband or scooter ring. Anyone done this? any photos? David.
