Left/Right Valves on Inverted Tanks
Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone can post some pics of tanks on the JJ. I'm after some pics of the standard inverted tanks, but with L/R valves and associated hose routing. I'm just looking at various options for plugging in offboard and am trying to figure out if the first stage positioning on L/R valves is better than with inline valves. |

Thanks Nick,
That does look very clean. The removal of the HP hoses helps a lot. Do you leave your regs on the rig permanently? Or just re cable tie on every build? Only thing is the regs aren't as far under the can, and slightly less protected...splitting hairs though. Did the original JJ's come with mk16 1st stages? |

I only put the zip-ties on to take the picture and I also put a length of mountain bike inner tube over the little manifolds to stop them rubbing up against the ballast tubes.Do you leave your regs on the rig permanently? Or just re cable tie on every build? Only thing is the regs aren't as far under the can, and slightly less protected...splitting hairs though. Did the original JJ's come with mk16 1st stages? The regs look a bit exposed there, but when the wing and all the other gubbins is in place they're out of the way. I've never managed to bang them against anything and I'm definitely a ferreter ![]() The regs are MK11s. The unit came with US4s but I bought these to try with upright 7s. I originally planned to use them with clipped-off 60cm HP hoses for that configuration and the Mk11s have 2 HP outlets unlike the Apeks regs. |
