ADV sticking after Dil flush

The ADV sticks on when purging during Dil flush, this happens both on the surface and at depth. I've changed the diaphragm and checked the small rocker, but it still sticks "on" occasionally. Has anyone had this happen and how did you solve it. Any suggestions appreciated.

Also it will free flow while ever the opv is above the adv and pulled open... I don't push the button when flushing, just roll a little to the right and pull the dump... Free flow flushes for me

Okay, thanks for that, I tend to roll to the left; shoulder down. Dave I've put a bit more tension in the spring and it appears to have done the trick. Once again thanks guys for the prompt response. Steve

How did you put more tension on the spring?

You could try screwing down the tilt boss, although they should be screwed almost completely in when set.

Stretching the spring might help a bit, as would packing it out with some shimming. I believe there are two different levers available from JJ, one of which gives the ADV a greater resistance.

I just stretched it a bit and it stopped it from sticking open.
