it's released this side of the pond soon...what do people think?
is it a viable contender for the iPad crown?

I'd go for the nexus - as it comes with the latest version of Android and is not tied into the Amazon market place.. the Kindle also doesn't look like it has a camera? Just thoughts..

I wasn't sure about the Nexus...trading off the Blade Runner franchise puts it into Geek zone

ive had the kindle fire for nearly a year, and i love it, very fast and smooth,
the screen is bueautiful the only down side was not being able to use the apps store but it was already loaded with loads of stuff for email and office work, brousers etc. so not really a problem while we wait for the real launch in the uk
but not the apps store should be up and running im happy....oh yes no camera
