QD connections

I bought my second hand JJ and it came with some Omniswivel QD connectors. Like these

Omniswivel Quick Disconnect Female to 9/16" Male

Having just completed MOD1, PVT has advised that all my connectors should be compatible with each other. As it stands the wing and dry suit inflators are standard reg hoses attached with an EZ QD adapter like these these 'EZ' QD Adaptor

I'm looking to have my O2 add, BOV, drysuit, wing and bail out reg on the same connection system and I've been looking at these XS Scuba Quick Disconnect System which I'm guessing will give adequate flow for regs, Bov and O2 add.

What you you guys using on your rigs to achieve this?

I use XS Scuba and full-flow CEJN fittings, which are compatible with each other. The Omniswivel is not CEJN compatible without fettling.

I use my only Omniswivel QD on my ADV as the old-style ADV housing doesn't have room to screw a Miflex hose on and off.

I have QDs on my O2 MAV, BOV and my bailout whips. My bailout second stages also have QDs and can be removed to access my onboard O2.

cheers Nick, are your fittings the XS Scuba ones I've linked to??

Hopefully I might catch you on a boat soon to have a look at your set up. I know Sam has dived with you a few times.

I need to fettle the BOV and the stand at some point as well!!

No, I'm using these on my BOV, MAV & whips as I'm not bothered about lock-downs there:

and these on my bailout regs:

The latter look quite similar to those you've posted. Brocky sells both of the types I've shown.

Ahh gotcha!!! So what do you do to inflate your smb????

I was thinking of putting a whip on bailout, but I've already got a hose direct to BOV and a second stage on there a third would be messy.

Second hose on my drysuit bottle??

Im still looking for a CEJN nipple that will fit my O2 Mav. Ive got loads of CEjN nipples that dont fit. The threads is to long for the o2 mav hole.

I might get the hacksaw out and make it sorter.
