Hello from Fed Up with Tech Forums
Hello!
After a recent rant on Facebook about how very much I hate all the spew and vitrol on tech diving forums, Dave Sutton informed me about this one and insisted you all are friendly. Hope to meet some of you! -Kristine |

OK, now that you know we're friendly, tell the rest of the gang a little about yourself or I'll need to spill all of your secrets. Including the fact that you're a girl. Oh, wait... that was one, wasn't it? OK, tell us a little about yourself...
Best, Dave . |

Oh jeez, Dave...
OK, here goes.
Yes, I am indeed a female! (With natural blonde and not-so-natural hot pink hair, I might add...) I've been diving since 1988, though only more seriously since about 2000; I've got more than 1,000 dives under my belt. I dive open circuit and have totally drunk the sidemount kool-aid...haven't strapped a set of doubles on for more than 2 years now, and don't see any good reason to, ever. I do a lot of wreck diving off the NC coast- come visit sometime and I'll take you diving! My favorite wreck is the E.M. Clark, a WWII wreck in 250 feet of water; I run a charter there every year. I also have fallen in love with cave diving, which I've been doing since 2006. Deep, dark, and spooky wet places? THAT'S for ME!!! Again, thanks for the warm welcome- I hope to see some of you in my neck of the woods one of these days! -Kristine |
