Optocon, is it worth upgrading?
As the title says...
Anyone who's had the upgrade regret it? I've a buddy who needs to get get his TPM done, and I'm thinking of getting mine upgraded at the same time. My buddy is likely to only get his TPM sorted, but I was thinking of maybe getting the whole lot.

I have a unit with optocon on it. It had it from purchase so i have no baseline comparison. I have noted thar there is a significant delay in readings as the optocon only broadcasts every 5 seconds or so. This means a wait between injection and readings. It works fine though but you just have to understand you are working slighty behind in the readings.

TPM and HP Optocon upgrade
I had TPM and HP Optocon upgrade done last autumn.
It got rid of the problems with the TPM cable connectors and wrong HP readings, so it was very good thing to do. Now it is much easier to place the scrubber inside the machine, when there is no need to connect the TPM cable in a narrow space. I did not have the O2 Optocon done, since there were no problems at that side. Masa |
