QC-6's never disconnect uncommanded, they are simply not prone to it. If you shut down the onboard cylinder after you select the offboard using either a valve or slide isolator, the entire thing is pressurized anyhow, and the pressurized QD's are even harder to disconnect that an unpressurized one. That's just not a problem.

Heck, I just open the valve that's installed at the offboard QD input and turn off the onboard cylinder valve. Makes it completely uinambiguous. I completely agree. Relying on a small IP difference to automatically select your gas is like playing with a lit stick of dynamite IMHO. IPs tend to creep, and even a 1 bar difference has been well documented. Either ball valve or flow stop are much safer.
