JJ CCR Cells dying

Ok, so six months into owning the JJ, I've had two of the three original cells fail.

SN: JJ100813 lasted a month before it started reading way low and getting voted out.

SN: JJ100815 lasted six months before it showed zero voltage.

Both have been replaced under warranty by Baz at Southern Cross Divers with no issue whatsoever. Just wondering if any others have had premature cell failure especially in this serial number range.

I still have SN: JJ100814 and expect it to go in the next couple of months. Spares already ordered.

Unit is dried fully post dive and left without elevated levels of oxygen.

What are the dates on them?

might be worth sending them back to Jan or Vandagraph (if you havent already) the more feedback they get the better cells we get

I put three 2011/03 cells into my unit last November and one failed this weekend. I will run a cell check on the others this week.

I've sent them both back to Baz at SXD and he will no doubt forward them to Jan.

Note to self. Cells are a consumable. You've been using the best cells available. either bad luck, or keep em cool, purge the ccr with air pronto after a dive, and test em in a cell checker for peace of mind. Test em makes me relax on a dive. Have fun.
