Would you swap your JJ for 2 CCRs

Just been quoted prices on a new Pathfinder, basicly you get 2 Pathfinders for what you would normally pay for the 1 JJ here in Oz.

Can someone please explain this?

Why would you want two rebreathers?

I'd rather have one reasonably priced, better rebreather and the money in the bank.

ISC Pathfinder? As in the "Small" Megaladon?

They were in the end stage of CE testing six months ago when I was at the factory.
Are you being quoted for delivery "now", or "sometime in the future"?

They are nice little rigs, key word "little".

Isn't the Pathfinder a Bog-Roll Rebreather? (As in- EAC scrubbers) if so probably worth less than half a JJ, all the performance data on those scrubbers I've seen has been rather contradictory and the ongoing cost is considerable with very little benefit.

Last I heard the standard configuration is

1 ISCAN bus handset
1 HUD
1 Onboard tank O2
Offboard dil
Repackable 2.2kg radial scrubber

I believe the price is in the region of $5k US but then you have the option of adding a Shearwater
