This is not an acceptable reason! If you have a company and withdraw money from customers your business has to go first, not your own diving!

With the technique we have today he can get internet access anywhere and can answer mails between the dives no matter were he is.
The e-commerce on his site and all sites is real time, it's not withdrawing it's processing and you order you order. Yes he might be better at his emails but he ain't and at this time there is no one that sells as much stuff of the quality that he sells so he gets away with it but it's not malicious, it's not deliberate and I sense your making just a little bit of a stink about it but that's your call not mine.

My biggest bug bear with ordering is that I can get the stuff into the UK within 3 days from him but the local courier company Parcelfarce insist on mailing out a tax invoice that has to be paid using a special code that means I end up waiting 3 weeks to get what was in the country 72H after I order it. Compared to that Lof has never let me down on any of about 10 orders.

I just talked to my friend about diving tomorrow and we talked about this thread, it is over 2 months since he ordered, the owner must dive a lot if he cant answer mails and have a normal customer service during that time.

And the money was withdrawn from day one.

Even if he has a good reputation, if he continue doing like this, that reputation will soon be gone. No one cares how good he is if he favors his own diving instead of his paying customers.

And fully informed customers can now make their own choice...
I am sure if you follow RBW or other dive forums this is kind of old news.

Hi guys.
I have ordered from Golem gear a few times and been in contact with Jakub via mail a lot in the past. I always got a quick response and very good service.
This was over a year ago so i don't know if it has changed. It´s really sad if the service has become lacking and that the company ignores customer E-mail.

In my view Golem gear sells high quality accessories that are hard to come by anywhere else.

I really hope they up their game so that we as a community can continue to get high end accessories.

Best regards

It shouldn't be that dificult to post on the website if items are out of stock or not, but that's just my 2 cents.
My advice to the op is, first try to know if the products you wish are in stock. If you can't get your answer the first time, try again until you do and then place your order.
They have really nice gear. I have a Bov from them (which I'm selling because I don't use anymore) which is a wonderful high quality of equipment.

I believe Jakub is in France at the moment for the TDF. I could be wrong, but he keeps posting crap about the race on FB. Jakub just has a ton of irons in the fire, he has top notch stuff and good prices. If anyone really needs to get in touch with him, he will reply, but sometimes his spam filter keeps emails from his inbox. I know because it happened to me.

How hard would it be to pic up the phone and give him a call to see that he gets the email that you are sending?
I did that when i was in a tight dead line and it worked 100% and yes his produckts are wery good.

Regard
Tomas

There has been plenty posted in the past about Jakub and Golem. Some good and some bad. Bottom line is that I have never gotten a response to email or a request put in through the Golem site, but always get a fairly quick response to PMs sent through RBW or TDS where his handle is LOF. I don't know if he's on this site yet. It takes a while for him to ship and communication is not his forte. But the stuff is good and prices fair. And he will ship anywhere.
