CCR Explorers - the next step in CCR Diving!

Closed Circuit Rebreather diving is a fast growing approach to diving. Be it technical or recreational,
wreck, cave or reef, CCR diving can be relevant to the diving that you do. Jump in on our rebreather forums, find

CCR Explorers is a Closed Circuit Rebreather diving forum run by divers for both CCR divers and those who are interested
in learning more about our approach to diving. There is a lot of information around
on the internet about Closed Circuit Rebreathers, we hope to bring it together here, at CCRX, into one resource
which each of us can use.

Hi everyone
I am new to site and have been diving CCR for over ten years now. Originally trained on SM 1600 (Mark 15.5) then owned an APD Evolution and went over to ISC Cave Meg which I have recently sold and I am waiting for my fabulous new ISC Pathfinder. I am heavily involved in high end underwater filming 2D & 3D. I look forward to interacting on CCR Explorers.

just want to say a quick hello to everyone. Just some pSCR experience, no CCR diver so far, but a longer history of OC trimix and cave diving and happy to read all the other good information here about diving itself.

Hello together,
since today I'm a member of this forum. Thanks a lot for letting me in. To be honest I'm not a CCR Diver but I found a lot of interesting topics here that are relevant for my OC diving too. I live in northern Germany, have 1000+ dives with approximately 80 decompression dives on Trimix. I love to dive on wrecks in all over Europe but have a lot of biological purposes for diving too. I am going through the process of buying an Inspiration Rebreather, this will be the second breather I have owned. As I have a dive shop and get to dive all over the place i'm always looking to kindle my interest with new things. Burnt by my first excursion into rebreather diving and with a few tries when in the navy, it has taken 47 years to make the plunge into my pocket and buy the Inspiration. The forum came recommended so I dropped by and decided I should sign up right away.
I am a MOD 1 Inspo diver but not had much chance to dive my unit for a while due to lack of CCR divers to buddy up with. I am looking to progress my diving to CCR Trimix and CCR Cave in the fullness of time.
